Motogp Bikes

Road Racing World Championship Grand Prix is the premier championship of motorcycle road racing currently divided into three distinct classes: 125cc, Moto2 and MotoGP. The 125cc class use a two-stroke engine while Moto2 and MotoGP uses four-stroke engines. In 2010 the 250cc was replaced by the new Moto2 600cc four-stroke class. Grand Prix motorcycles are purpose-built racing machines that are neither available for purchase by the general public nor can be ridden legally on public roads. This contrasts with the various production categories of racing, such as the Superbike World Championship, that feature modified versions of road-going motorcycles available to the public.

Time and observation trials are trials with a time limit. The person who completes the route the quickest sets the "standard time" and all other competitors must finish within a certain amount of time of the standard time to be counted as a finisher (they received penalty points for every minute after the quickest finisher). This is combined with the penalty points accrued from the observed sections to arrive at a winner, who is not alway the quickest rider or the rider who lost the less marks on observation but the rider who balanced these competing demands the best. One of the most famous time and observation trials is the "Scott" trial held annually in North Yorkshire.

Mini Bikes Images Gallery

A minibike, sometimes called a mini moto or pocketbike, is a miniature motorcycle. Most traditional minibikes use a two stroke engine to turn the rear wheel via a chain.

History
An old style minibike

Like go-karts, the first minibikes were made by enthusiasts from spare parts found in their garages. They were first popularly used as "pit bikes", for drag racers to travel around in the pits during races in the late 1950s. They were very useful for this purpose, as they could maneuver very well in the tight pit roads, fit in about the same space as a small bicycle in a trailer or pickup, and they were faster than most previous forms of transportation. As racers brought them home and used them around their neighborhoods, many children liked the idea of having a "mini motorcycle" and started building their own. A market for minibikes developed and many cottage and major industries developed to meet the demand. Famous minibike companies include Arctic-Cat, Rupp, Taco, Heath, Gilson, and Fox, many of which also made other power toys such as go-karts, trikes and choppers. The height of the minibike/go-kart era was from the late 1960s to the early 1970s in America. Many of the famous brands, foremost Rupp, have gained a cult-following of enthusiasts and owners.

Yamaha Atv Gallery

Yamaha Motor Corporation was founded in 1955 by Genichi Kawakami, the son of the president of Nippon Gakki, a musical instrument and electronics manufacturer. Kawakami had a passion for motorcycles, and he believed that the future of his father's company lay in the manufacturing of motorcycles and similar products. Nippon Gakki was doing well and was able to support Kawakami's growing Yamaha Motor Corporation. Now the entire operation is under the Yamaha Corporation, of which Yamaha Motor Corporation is a subset.

Today, Yamaha Motor Corporation has expanded its products to include boats, personal watercraft, scooters and snowmobiles. Yamaha also produces utility and sport ATVs. Yamaha's sport all-terrain vehicles are designed for off-road racing and are light and agile. The utility Yamaha ATVs are designed for really tough off-roading and are accordingly tough and burly.

Yamaha's Grizzly ATVs are among its most popular models. The Grizzlies are perfect for hunting, camping, and off-road activities. The Yamaha Grizzly ATVs are California green-sticker compliant so you can use your Yamaha ATV with peace of mind. The seat is specially designed for maximum comfort, even for all-day riding. The center-mounted trailer hitch can tow over 1,200 pounds so you can haul your buddies out of the mud.

Some Grizzly models come with customized shells, in colors like high-definition camouflage or hunter green, perfect for hunting. Yamaha ATV offers matching accessories such as gun scabbards and rear rack bags. Matching fenders are also available for purchase for Yamaha ATVs, as well.

Suzuki Katana images and biography

The original Suzuki Katana was a then-novel sport motorcycle designed in 1979–1980 by the southern Bavarian firm of Target Design at the request of Suzuki of Germany specifically for their market.

The Katana name was later applied to a range of sport touring motorcycles in North America through the 2006 model year (also offered in Europe but without the Katana moniker), and starting at the change of the millennium to a line of 49cc/50cc scooters in Europe.
